Brock Boyd started his recruiting career working for the largest private staffing firm in the country, Aerotek (now called Allegis Group). After one year with Aerotek, he saw an unmet opportunity in recruiting salespeople for DC area companies, founding CMI in April of 1998 at the age of 23.

His aggressive pursuit of face-time with the industry’s leading experts led him to becoming the youngest member on the Board of theNational Association of Personnel Services in 2001. In addition to running CMI as President/CEO since 1998, Brock has never distanced himself from the art of recruiting, completing over 300 successful searches since the company’s inception. He received his CPC (Certified Personnel Consultant) designation in 2003, and qualified to join the Pinnacle Society in 2007.

He has been writing a quarterly newsletter to over 10,000 local subscribers since 2002, in an effort to pass along job search tips and keep his clients aware of what opportunities exist.

Brock graduated from Old Dominion University in 1997.
