For Spouses

For the first time EVER at ANY recruiting conference, we have a special pre-conference workshop planned just for your spouse. That’s right — this is a family-oriented business, and we think everyone should be involved. We know that many of you will bring your significant others to Vegas anyhow — here’s an opportunity to introduce them to others and give them a third-party glimpse into your business.

Recruiting is a business of relationships. And amongst the most important relationships in our lives are the ones we have with our significant others. They are there for us day in and day out, putting up with the hectic schedule that running and managing a recruiting business requires while maintaining their own careers, taking care of our families, working in the recruiting business alongside of us, or pursuing their own dreams and goals. Whether they are husbands, wives, partners, or even extended family members, they deserve everything the world has to offer, because, let’s face it – being in a relationship with a recruiter is not a task for the faint of heart!

Led by Carolyn Thompson, this very unique panel workshop will consist of husbands and wives who are married to successful recruiting business owners – and fellow conference attendees. Carolyn will lead the group in a very candid discussion of how they make things work, the common struggles they all face, the sacrifices that each person in the relationship makes, and the rewards that also come with being committed to an incredibly ambitious and goal-oriented person.

Your spouse will take away a deeper understanding of:

  • The importance of understanding the way different relationships work
  • Things they could do differently to be supportive of your recruiting business
  • Things that you could do differently to be supportive of your spouse
  • Why some things work and some things don’t
  • When to expect you to take off your ‘spouse hat’ and put on your ‘recruiter hat’ – and vice versa
  • Plus much more – this promises to be a fun, engaging, and interactive workshop that they’ll never forget!

This session will run from 1pm - 3pm on Wednesday, June 1. Bring your spouse to Vegas and have them attend this workshop (it’s free!) while you attend one of the other pre-conference workshops. Why not turn this into an opportunity to have a fun get-away with your spouse while both of you learn and grow? After all, it’s a tax deductible business expense!

This type of workshop has never been done before – by ANY recruiting conference. Register yourself for the Fordyce Forum today and add “Spouse Registration” to your conference package… it’s free!
